Natasha Posey

Natasha Posey received her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from University of Wisconsin - Madison. Graduate work was accomplished through National Louis University where she earned a Master’s Degree in curriculum and instruction. Natasha has been a Milwaukee Public School teacher her entire teaching career, working in the following schools: Elm Creative Arts School, Golda Meir for the Gifted and Talented, Maryland Avenue Montessori, and Fernwood Montessori School. In addition, she enjoyed the challenge of mentoring new educators as they began their teaching career. It was through mentoring that Natasha discovered the power of the Montessori program. She went on to train at the Montessori Institute of Milwaukee under Allyn Travis, receiving AMI certification in 1st - 6th grade. 

In addition to being a Montessori teacher, Natasha has enjoyed a long career in dance. She graduated from Point Park University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, specializing in ballet. Natasha has performed with the following companies: Augusta Ballet Company (Georgia), Wisconsin Ballet Theatre (Green Bay), Danceworks Performance Company (Milwaukee), and she currently performs with Catey Ott Dance Collective (Milwaukee). Natasha’s biggest fans are her husband Mike, two children, and sweet dog, Samantha Wigglebottoms.
