Cindy Weiher

Cindy has worked with infants, toddlers, and their parents in the Montessori environment for over 40 years in a variety of environments. She has enjoys instructing and field consulting for TEP’s in the US and internationally. She devotes numerous hours volunteering in the Montessori community, serving on AMS accreditation teams and MACTE verification teams.

She believes in continuous education, often accumulating over 100 hours of documented professional development per year. Currently, she is using translator apps to read books that are in Italian which document the history of Adele Costa Gnocchi, the woman who worked with Maria Montessori in developing the Assistants to Infancy Program.

In her spare time Cindy enjoys visiting with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild. She relaxes by making one-of-a-kind quilts, greeting cards, and reading. You can find her curled up on her couch at home with her Cavalier King Charles dogs and the ones she fosters before they get adopted. Those who know her well will tell you she doesn’t do retirement well, loves chocolate, and is up working in the wee hours of the morning.
