Carol Luterbach

 

 

Carol has been serving the Montessori School of Waukesha since 1984. Experience and growth in understanding Montessori philosophy and pedagogy contributes to Carol’s success as a lead teacher and as a MSOW member for forty years. A true advocate for Montessori education, Carol has committed a lifetime to the observation and well being of children. Preparation of the environment and building character through grace and courtesy are Carol’s true passions in her work.

Carol began her career at MSOW as an art enrichment teacher and went on to earn a Montessori credential through St. Nicholas Training Center. Carol completed an additional American Montessori Society credential in 2004. She recently earned her associate degree in Early Childhood Education as a means of staying current in today’s world of education. She has been active in presenting philosophy and lessons at the Montessori Paraprofessional Training Program. Carol has also completed Orton- Gillingham Certification to enhance reading instruction strategies. Additionally, Carol has completed an Early Childhood Reading Certificate through American Montessori Society. She has co-instructed Early Childhood Language for the GMEI Teacher Education program since 2021.

Each of Carol’s three children attended Montessori School of Waukesha, as well as her local grandchildren. She enjoys family, reading, and all seasons of the great outdoors.
